The Energy Inward Buying and Investment Mission is currently underway in Cape Town, in South Africa's Western Cape province.

The six-day event which had two legs both in Johannesburg and Cape Town is a partnership between the Export Credit Insurance Company (ECIC), the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) and the South African Electrotechnical Export Council (SAEEC).

Delegates from some African countries are in attendance.

Energy Inward Buying and Investment Mission underway in SA

South Africa's mental health advocacy organisation, the South African Depression and Anxiety Group (SADAG) says one in four people that call into their call centre, their calls are suicide related. 

The callers vary from people who want to attempt suicide, and individuals with loved ones with suicidal thoughts. 

The organisation has been doing mental health advocacy work for three decades in the country.

SADAG was speaking as they observed World Suicide Prevention Day in Johannesburg, South Africa. 

According to the World Health Organisation( WHO) more than 720 000 people die due to suicide every year.

The annual International Humanitarian Law Seminar kicked-off in South Africa's capital Pretoria on, co-hosted by the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the Geneva Conventions, under the theme "Strengthening Humanity."
