East Africa Law Society says Tanzanian president is violating East African community Law

Tanzania's main opposition leader Tundu Lissu has told his supporters to have no fear. Lissu appeared in country yesterday, on treason charges.

This as President Samia Suluhu Hassan warned foreign rights activists against interfering in the country's politics. Lissu, who was appearing in court for the first time since his arrest, entered the court with his fist raised in the air as supporters chanted, No Reforms, No Election.
