The CEO for ATFX Africa, a global online financial products services provider Linton White says that ATFX platforms provide oppoortunities for individuals who want to make a financial change to thier lives. The company has partnered with the University of South Africa (UNISA) to develop a financial training programme that will enable students to gain knowledge and insight into global financial markets. He was speaking to Channel Africa's reporter Micheal Mbewe on the margins of a ATFX fundraising golf challenge event to aid students with historical debt in collaboration with UNISA and the Thabo Mbeki Foundation. It was held in Johannesburg, South Africa.

As vote counting continues in Mozambique independent presidential candidate Venancio Mondlane has threatened to call a nationwide strike and bring Mozambique to a standstill if the ruling party Frelimo claimed victory in the presidential election. Mondlane told media that based on figures collected by his delegates at polling stations, he is leading after last week's election. Preliminary results are expected to be declared on Saturday, and full official results 15 days after the poll.
