Mozambique's death toll from Cyclone Chido has risen to 94, citing the country's disaster management agency.
The cyclone had made landfall in northern Mozambique a week ago and Mozambique's institute for natural disasters on Thursday had given the death toll at 73. Over 380 thousand people have been affected in the provinces of Cabo Delgado, Nampula and Niassa, with homes either damaged or destroyed, 52 health and 250 schools have been affected and over a thousand classrooms have been impacted.
