South Africa's President, Cyril Ramaphosa has defended his decision to attend the Brics summit in Russia. This after the Government of National Unity partner- the Democratic Alliance, distanced itself from his comments on Russia being an ally to South Africa during an address at the Summit in Kazan, this week.
Some political analysts say the disagreement on the relations between South Africa and Russia, are signs of cracks in Ramaphosa's Government of National Unity.
