Following the South African Minister of Defence and Military Veterans Thandi Modise's Election Security briefing in Pretoria, the South African Government is placing a significant focus on securing key physical locations in the country, as they prepare for the national and provincial elections scheduled for 29 May. After a series of investigations into a number of countries' elections, Check Point Research has revealed an alarming use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in affecting election campaigns worldwide.
