Cameroon government troops and civilians asking for an immediate departure of gold, iron ore and diamond miners, especially Chinese have been in running battles along Cameroon's eastern border with the Central African Republic.
Civilians accuse miners of destroying the environment and taking away their resources, while communities remain very poor and underdeveloped without basic infrastructure.
