The youth led uprising, erupted a month ago as a public anger against the proposed financial Bill and the rising cost of living.

President William Ruto, declined to sign the Bill into law and has since fired almost everyone in his executive, in a bid to cool the protests.

Several civil society organisations led by the Aids Healthcare Foundation gathered in Johannesburg, South Africa, to call on the European Union( EU) to stop blocking Health Equity ahead of the final negotiations of the World Health Organisation Pandemic Treaty. They say the treaty cannot move forward until the Pathogen Access and Benefit Sharing ( PABS) Annex is finalized.   The Annex determines how pathogen samples are shared and whether all countries benefit from vaccines.
