Burundi has announced that it will reopen its border with Rwanda only after the extradition of Red Tabara rebel group  members. A group accused by Burundi of attacking and killing civilians.

 Burundi says that if Rwanda attacks Burundi the war will be regionalised and Burundians are ready and mobilised to retaliate.

New Conflicts and Economic Strain Driving Next Wave of Terrorism, Report Warns

Several civil society organisations led by the Aids Healthcare Foundation gathered in Johannesburg, South Africa, to call on the European Union( EU) to stop blocking Health Equity ahead of the final negotiations of the World Health Organisation Pandemic Treaty. They say the treaty cannot move forward until the Pathogen Access and Benefit Sharing ( PABS) Annex is finalized.   The Annex determines how pathogen samples are shared and whether all countries benefit from vaccines.
