British Council Joins UNESCO Global Education Initiatives to Boost Learning Worldwide

The British Council, the UK's international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities, has recently been recognised by UNESCO as a member of the Global Education Coalition and the International Task Force on Teachers for Education 2030. These initiatives aim to support global education recovery, tackle teacher shortages, and promote inclusive, high-quality learning worldwide. To help us understand what this recognition means for education globally and in Africa, Asanda Beda spoke to Caroline Grant, Senior Global Education Adviser at the British Council.
