BRICS Plus Naval Exercises Begin Off South Africa's Coast

The South African National Blood Service (SANBS)  is experiencing lower-than-optimal blood stock levels, and stabilising supply is critical for patient care.  The organisation says that while Group O and Group B are particularly important due to their compatibility and emergency use, all blood groups are urgently needed.  They have highlighted that January donations drop every year due to holiday travel, limited drives and disrupted routines.  The organisation is calling on the public to go and donate, detailing that a single 30-minute donation can save up to three lives.  To discuss this issue further, is the SANBS's Senior Manager: Marketing, Communication and Brand Johannesburg.

The Water Research Commission says the country is approaching water scarcity mostly because of lack of water usage knowledge. To mend this, the Commission is running a campaign titled -  'A WaterWise Nation' .
