Batswana living abroad, election officials, the police, and the army casted their votes on Saturday as a curtain raiser towards the general elections to be held on the 30th of October, when all other voters will keep alive Africa's longest-running continuous democracy.
In South Africa a handful of Batswana's were casting their votes in designated polling stations in Bloemfontein, Johannesburg and the capital Pretoria.
