As the world marks Dictionary Day, experts reflect on how dictionaries are evolving in the digital era

Ghana's President John Dramani Mahama has marked one year since returning to office, after winning the December 2024 elections.

 In a national address this week, President Mahama described his first 12 months as a period of tough but necessary decisions, largely focused on stabilising an economy under pressure and restoring confidence in key state institutions. He says the next phase of his presidency will prioritise policies that deliver tangible benefits for ordinary Ghanaians, from jobs to cost-of-living relief.

China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi has called for enhanced cooperation with Ethiopia in areas including infrastructure, green industry, and the digital economy.

Speaking during his visit to Addis Ababa as part of a week-long African tour, Wang emphasized Beijing's readiness to work with Ethiopia to align development strategies, share governance experiences, and support initiatives promoting regional peace and stability. During this trip, Wang Yi is visiting Ethiopia, Somalia, Tanzania, and Lesotho.
