A leading academic from the University of South Africa has sounded the alarm over the rising unemployment rate among university graduates.
Speaking at the 2nd International Conference on Higher Education Teaching, Learning and Student Support in Pretoria, Professor Meahabo Magano from UNISA's Faculty of Education called for urgent action to tackle the lack of job opportunities for graduates.
