The African Women in Dialogue (AFWID) gathering which took place in South Africa has concluded. The conveners says the five day dialogue revolved around empowering African women to help each other to face the continental challenges including conflicts and poverty. The discussions also centred around empowering women economically. Over a thousand women from across Africa were in attendance.
