Africa's electric mobility sector is attracting record levels of investment as demand grows for cleaner and more affordable transport. Electric mobility company Spiro, has secured another 55 million US dollars from Chinese investor NewTrails Capital, just weeks after raising a further 215 million dollars to support its expansion across the continent. The latest funding will help grow its electric motorcycle fleet, battery-swapping network and manufacturing capacity. We spoke to Raymond Kitunga, Deputy Country Head at Spiro Kenya.
