Singapore has been ranked the world's most competitive economy this year, according to a survey conducted by the International Institute for Management Development, IMD. Switzerland is in second place followed by Denmark in third. Over six thousand business leaders rated Singapore out of 67 economies.
Notably, several African countries featured in the survey, including Botswana and South Africa, with Ghana and Nigeria making their debut in this year's rankings. The inclusion of these African nations marks a significant step forward in their economic development endeavors.
