The Council of Southern African Football Association (COSAFA) will be introducing the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system for the COSAFA Women's Championship. The tournament is underway in South Africa's Gauteng Province and concludes on October 10.

 It is the first time the system has been used in a COSAFA tournament , and will be implemented from the semi-finals onwards.
