A new international survey by the independent research firm, Povaddo has revealed that the public want a more balanced approach to tobacco regulation.
The survey was conducted in February this year among 44 000 adults in 22 countries, including South Africa.
According to the study, over eighty percent of South African survey respondents believe decisions that impact society and public health should be made based on science and facts.
