The virtual Lives in the Balance Summit convened this week with the focus on delivering for women and children in humanitarian and conflict settings. The event was organised by the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health, PMNCH, for the 4th time, and highly attuned to current events. It convened as the world enters the third year of the COVID-19 pandemic, while witnessing increased climate related shocks and feeling the impact of the crisis in Ukraine. For more on the objectives of this year's summit, Zikhona Miso spoke to Helga Fogstad, CEO of the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health.
