The Independent Community Pharmacy Association of South Africa (ICPA) has called for independent pharmacies to be supported as quickly as possible as they rebuild and restore essential health services to their communities.
This follows reports of about eighty-four independent pharmacies that have been destroyed as a result of last month's protest action which escalated into looting and violence, spreading across the KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng and Mpumalanga provinces.
