With conflict-driven displacement having left nearly half of Sudan's population facing high levels of acute food insecurity, UNICEF in that region, says it has ramped up support for children caught in the country's war. The efforts come as the country's children have been highlighted as having the largest number of children facing a humanitarian crisis, with more funding is needed to meet humanitarian goals for the year 2026.
