On Africa World Hour, we explored the powerful intersection of rhythm, poetry, and jazz, all through the lens of womanhood, creativity, and identity.

We were joined by internationally acclaimed jazz vocalist Tutu Puoane, born in Pretoria, based in Antwerp, who's currently touring South Africa with her latest project, Wrapped In Rhythm.

It's a bold and moving musical interpretation of poetry by the award-winning Lebo Mashile, and the collaboration is as compelling as the two women behind it.
