South Africa's (SA) mining future is under the spotlight at Junior Indaba 2026 in Johannesburg, where industry leaders are exploring ways to attract investment, boost exploration and develop the next generation of mining professionals.
As the custodian of the country's geoscience data, the Council for Geoscience says unlocking new mineral discoveries will be critical to driving economic growth, job creation and strengthening Africa's position in the global mining industry.
