 Guided by the National Strategic Plan on Gender-Based Violence and Femicide, South Africa is building a prevention-to-prosecution continuum that centres on rights, dignity and accountability. That's according to the country's Minister for Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities, Sindisiwe Chikunga. She was delivering Pretoria's statement at the opening plenary session of the 70th Commission on the Status of Women at U.N. Headquarters in New York.
