The Bureau of Market Research (BMR) at the University of South Africa (Unisa) has released its latest Personal Income Estimates for South Africa (2020-2025).  Gender disparities are particularly stark. Although women make up 53% of the adult population  they receive only 41.8% of cash flow income. Men, who represent 47% of the adult population, earn 58.2% of total income.
