The Amarharhabe royal kingdom in the Eastern Cape, has lambasted the Premier of the province, Oscar Mabuyane and President Cyril Ramaphosa, for failing to display solidarity with the traditional leaders in their fight against the controversial unauthorised coronation of Nigerian king, chief Solomon Eziko in kuGompo city last month. His Majesty king Vululwandle Sandile was speaking to the media following a peace keeping meeting between Nigerian acting High Commissioner to South Africa, Alexander Ajayi and the traditional leadership in the Eastern Cape. The meeting was to display the Nigerian government's apology to the Eastern Cape traditional leadership following the coronation of chief Eziko, which left Eastern Cape residents furious. This engagement has been described as a display of a strong message against illegal immigrants who disregard South African laws.
