In South Sudan, Médecins Sans Frontièresn (MSF), also known as Doctors Without Borders, has made the difficult decision to suspend operations in Yei River and Morobo counties in Central Equatoria. 

This follows two shocking abductions of humanitarian workers in less than a week. These attacks form part of a worrying rise in violence targeting health workers in the region.

This emerged at the Council of Ministers of SADC in Pretoria, convened to deliberate on the implementation of regional integration programmes.
