Social justice advocate and the daughter of former President Nelson Mandela, Dr Makaziwe Mandela, says world leaders are not doing enough to fight for the cause of the Palestinians. She was speaking exclusively to SABC news, following the news that a group of South African activists from the Global Sumud Flotilla had arrived in Jordan. They had been deported by Israel following an attempt to deliver aid to Gaza. The activists braved rough seas and several drone attacks, with the sole aim of breaking the Israeli blockade of Gaza. Israel says the blockade is necessary to prevent weapons being smuggled into Gaza. However, Palestinians in the enclave have endured regular bombardment by the Israeli Forces and have been subjected to what the United Nations has described as limited access to humanitarian aid. For more on this, we are joined by the Spokesperson for the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, Ismail Moola.
