Good EVENING , and welcome to Africa World Hour. The Global Leaders Network — a South-led health diplomacy initiative — is launching a powerful new webinar series titled "Domestic Resource Mobilisation in Action." This series comes at a critical moment. Global aid for health is projected to fall by nearly forty percent. That's a staggering figure — one that could roll back decades of progress on the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, and put the lives of women, children, and adolescents at serious risk. For countries like Malawi, where health budgets are already stretched thin, the pressure is on to find homegrown solutions. Domestic resource mobilisation — raising and protecting funds from within — has become not just an option, but a necessity. Tsepiso Makwetla spoke to Mr. Grecium Kandio, Director of Revenue Policy at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs in Malawi.
