The Democratic Republic of Congo's President, Félix Tshisekedi, has arrived in South Africa for high-level talks with President Cyril Ramaphosa. This visit comes just days after Tshisekedi declined to attend a peace conference that brought together representatives from the M23 rebel movement and opposition groups from the DRC. President Tshisekedi's stop in Pretoria is being seen as a crucial diplomatic engagement. According to the Presidency, discussions will range from regional peace and security, to bilateral trade and cooperation between Kinshasa and Pretoria. Now to talk more about the significance of this visit we are joined by Africa Analyst Kwezi Mngqibisa.
