Cholera outbreaks are surging across West and Central Africa, with children once again bearing the brunt. UNICEF warns that an estimated 80 000 children are at high risk, as heavy rains, flooding, and poor sanitation fuel the spread.
The Democratic Republic of Congo and Nigeria are among the worst hit, with several neighbouring countries also on high alert.
