On August 30th, NIROX Sculpture Park becomes the stage for The BMW Art Generation Vol. III - a festival of imagination, legacy, and cultural dialogue. Presented by FNB Art Joburg and BMW South Africa, this edition is themed "A Tropology Between Image and Imagination." It's about reclaiming histories, interrogating identity, and using art as a methodology for shaping futures. With legendary names like Sipho 'Hotstix' Mabuse and Zanele Muholi alongside genre-defying voices like Msaki, this promises to be more than just a gathering - it's a call to reimagine what African art and presence mean today. With Tsepiso Makwetla spoke to the curator of this year's programme, Kim Kandon. Kim, welcome.
