The United Nations (UN) human rights office has condemned the killing of five Palestinian journalists in Israeli air strikes on Gaza, warning that the world must demand accountability for the mounting toll. The latest deaths bring the number of journalists killed since the war began, to at least 247. The five victims; Ahed Abu Aziz, Hussam al-Masri, Mariam Dagga, Mohammed Salama and Moaz Abu Taha, worked for outlets including Middle East Eye, the Associated Press, Al Jazeera and Reuters. They were among at least 20 people who died when Israeli forces struck Gaza's Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis on Monday.
