A strong call has been made to advance trade justice and improve global market access for African agricultural products.

Speaking during a preparatory meeting of the 11th P20 Parliamentary Speakers' Summit, at the Pan-African Parliament in Johannesburg, South Africa, Bhekizizwe Radebe,  the Chairperson of International Relations of the National Council of Provinces in the Parliament of South Africa, said despite vast natural resources, Africa remains a net importer of food.

He says this paradox reflects structural limitations rather than potential.
