In this edition of AfricaGender Indaba, Khopotso Bodibe focuses on stimulus packages aimed at alleviating the impact of Covid-19 on citizens in Zimbabwe from a gendered lens, while raising critical recommendations going forward. Discussions will look at how these stimulus packages helped address – or failed to address - the attendant sexual and gender-based violence that spiked during the pandemic.

A weekly 40 (forty) minute and an hour long weekend gender-based programme that engages men and boys across the African continent to create the change necessary for men, women, young people and children to enjoy equitable, healthy and happy relationships. The Programme also contributes to the development of just and democratic societies using a human rights framework to build the capacity of government, civil society organisations and citizens to achieve gender equality, prevent gender-based violence and reduce the spread of HIV and the impact of AIDS.

A weekly 40 (forty) minute and an hour long weekend gender-based programme that engages men and boys across the African continent to create the change necessary for men, women, young people and children to enjoy equitable, healthy and happy relationships.
