Welcome to Episode 1 of the NHS Armed Forces Health Podcast. This series aims to help you – the Armed Forces community - access the plethora of NHS services available.

Through these episodes we will look at different aspects of healthcare from leaving service to finding a GP, taking care of mental and physical health, and provision for forces families

Today we take some time to introduce the AF PPV itself. The AF PPV stands for the Armed Forces Patient and Public Voice group and in this episode we explore some of the important work that it does.

In today’s episode the host Alice Knight-Driver is joined by: Nicky Murdoch, Chair of the AF PPV; Kate Davies Director of Health and Justice, Armed Forces and Sexual Assault Referral Centres for NHS England; and Tom Fox, Veteran, Director of Thoughtify Mental Health training and a member of the AF PPV.
