Look out foot he's back. Get a. I'm Bruce dul the Flying Dorm.

Wait, no, I'm not. I am losing my hair at a rapid rate. They will tell you that much. It's getting sketchy every time you go to the barbiere like Jays. That looks shocking.

Anyway.

I am James Clements and this is the AFL Today's show.

This is a big one, gentlemen.

Not only am I joined by two just random dudes I fan of the office, but they also have to be too, very of my best friends in the entire world.

There's social Leo over there, Jim.

I'm feeling very demure. I'm ready for a good podcast.

On TikTok and in the middle it's Marcus Buzza. I'm not.

I'm not going to rip air something GOONSI this time around like I did last time I was on the show.

But you know there's always time grab it.

But this is a cracking, cracking episode. Why is that, you might ask, I can't hear you out there, But it's the final round of the home and away season.

We get a week next week.

I mean, of course we're working the entire time next week and we'll be doing shows the entire next week.

But still this is it. Ten teams go home.

It's all over red Rover for them. We're gonna get stuck into all the games. We've got massive game previous because there's so much going on with his top eight essentially it's still a top ten technically, so we'll break down every sort of scenario and whatnot as to what's going to happen out of each of these games. Got some tips, got all the good stuff. We got some news, so of course make sure to subscribe to the YouTube channel. The Old AFL Today Show, followed on the Socials, What is It? On the Facy, the Leo.

Ossie rules Today on Facebook.

Doing a good job. I'm very proud of you.

Thank you to that's the nicest thing you ever said.

To be honest, it might actually be anyway forty years back. Let's do it the news before round twenty four. So this popped off yesterday. We don't actually have confirmation of it yet. Joshua Shelley is meant to be dropped for the Adelaide game this weekend because the Crows are a joke of a team.

Yeah that sounds about right. Yeah, very supportive of them, I must say, yeah.

Something must have happened behind the scenes.

Five weeks, ten goals, thirty one score involvements, twelve point eight player raading the only general forwards in the comp with more goals over that stretch of Toby Green and ban Keys. Yeah not bad, yep, sort of company. Ten touches last week I think as well. Did the two thing to the port alo Power hell fan.

Yeah, that's good.

Enjoyed that. Oh yeah.

And if the Adelaide Crows are gonna be like, oh, that goes against our stuff? What do you stand for as a club? I talk about this with the diceon Heppel stuff. What do you stand for as a club? If josh Ra Shelley can't go out there and have a bit of fun and actually kind of mostly deliver on the ground. He didn't kick three goals, he didn't win them the game. At the same time, it's a showdown. That was fun. It fired him up.

It didn't work, but still, what do you do? What message does this scin?

Yeah to like the rest of the the younger dudes of that club, where you've got Rory Lad wasn't during the week throwing him under that I've got like people coming out and just talking trash. It's like, Yo, Rochelley's like, dude, I'm contracted to twenty twenty nine?

Can I get to the Blues?

Now? What do you do? Well? He was a content for wasn't he go?

Yeah?

Must be on the selection panel after drop him? But they call him the Desk. They call him the Desk. It's it's some weird name, I'll tell you that. But I think, look, it's a bit concerning. I think you look at a player and their their personnel, and you look at dropping them after that they've had so much spotlight on them that just doesn't.

That would just encourage every young player at Adelaide to be like, oh, hang on a sec, like I can't really my full selfie have to be very professional by the book and a team.

That's had Text Walker and Isaac Rankin on the books for years now. It's weird because just to let him send up, like finish off his year in the right way, it's like it's just one thing happens.

It's one game.

It's like, oh, I did the takee thing that was funny. It's like that you're doing it wrong. You're not playing next week it's like, what, I'm not playing foot until twenty twenty five. Now, yeah, it actually knows, Like what the hell?

Yeah, it's not worth the backlash to be drop for one game.

I think it's absolutely ridiculous. What are you doing?

It doesn't get traded.

Cardon will take him.

There'll be heaps of teams that will take him. I think North should go after him. There's a few others in Melbourne, Richmond.

Yeah, I'm just saying, well, we might part with Ashton Moyer maybe after he's gone. He's twenty minutes of football and you want to He's a gun and he's.

A made of mind. We were hanging down at oz kick it was a sweet bell boys.

He no mon actually be wa But anyway, speaking which Koschy wanted to get.

Rid of the nastiness in the showdown.

It came out after he's Oh, it's just it's just lower class to say that US Power fans don't have any teeth, he said, as a weird baldheaded Loo probably with fake veniers, like what are we doing?

Who are you trying to impress? Koschy? Oh, just goll just chill out a little bit. No, it's the body showdown. They played it fifty six times and it's twenty eight and twenty eight. We're not gonna calm it down. This is blood and it was not blood. It's buddy bodies in a barrel. This is South Australia rit large right there. It's horrible pies and bodies in the barrel. Come on, Goshy, pull your weird heading.

Anyway, speaking weird heads, raise a ray. It's his final game this week.

This is sad farewell to a legend.

So he's your goat. Isn't he go to umpiring? Let's say go to, let go to.

Can we get him.

Pretty idle to look up to?

Nah, that's fine, Dory. Can we get him on this podcast?

I mean we could try.

I want to be good content. I don't know.

I feel like you should just be a bit too like Jimmy yelling too loud, bring him down, bring it down.

I'm like, no, Rays like that. I'm like, what did I do? It's shut up?

Right?

Three seventy five games, two Grand finals.

Not bad, I think.

So we covered this earlier in the year, right like when we sort of came out that was his last season, and it's like, I like umpires to have like a dash of personality. I don't want too much. I don't want them to be making about them obviously, uh ossie rules, you don't quite. It's good to have like back and forth, like it's very similar to obviously my thing is basketball. You can have back and forth, like have healthy back and forth with an umpire or referee, and it comes down to respect. If they respect the job that you do, if you're good at your job, then it just it's fine, right, And I think raysor Ray has sort of proven that over the years that even with that dash of flash, he obviously knows the gig and he's pretty bloody good at it. So as a laugh like with the players as well, like sometimes I like.

That taking the piss out of players, like what was that? Exactly?

As well, I reckon there'll be times where he just hasn't digged himself and players would love it.

For sure, Like even that moment when he got when he got hitting the Crown Jewels in the richmondw Yeah.

That's pretty good. Man hit the ground by football football in the groin.

Other retirements though, one personal, you know, tough one for me, my beloved Hugh Greenwood, NBA ASTRA former basketball player, legend after well, maybe not legend, but excellent performer at three clubs.

It was the Suns.

It was really fun of the Suns. I don't know what happened to North Melbourne. You just sort of I think he did his well, he did his knee.

Similar players.

I think at North having done his kne at Golgos and then North pick him up, has a bit of a surprise everybody, right, they're like, oh wait, like the son's like we were going to pick him back?

What the hell? Man?

And North like haha. And then he didn't get too much of a rundown there. But either one hundred and twenty one games across three teams, he's a legend. Never took a career bounce, No really, which is a funny. They were, they were That's where I got it from. That's awesome for a bus. Did you know you used to play basketball and Marillion Marleon Pickett, Yeah, Marlon.

Pickett is a career.

I think this has been I think our friend of the program, Louis McCurdy was actually out there, Louis Louis Josh He was like, uh, you can run like a thousand years of AFL Ossie rules footy and not have a story like Marlon Pickett yeap and I'm like it probably not. Well, wins a VFL Grand Final, wins the best on ground. The next week, makes his AFL debut in a Grand final, plays in front of one hundred thousand people in that Grand final. Next game he plays in front of zero people because of COVID.

Yeah, It's like, that's nuts.

And it was that year in twenty nineteen that he got drafted in mid season, right.

So.

It was probably the first mid season draft picked to go well yeah as well.

So I think he ends up around ninety seven ninety eight games.

I can't actually remember the top mad but struggled this year with like was a carf injury earlier. I felt like the whole Richmond team did yeah and sort of came back, got back to full fitness, and then they wanted him to come back for next year.

He's like, I'm good going out on.

Maybe yeah, thirty two. That's what happens when you were mid season older.

Richmond of their worst year, yet come back next year.

Ninety games only in the end of the other one for me, Zach Towey beloved blue.

So what he didn't acknowledge Carlton, so he did video.

He sort of popped off and Carlton people got angry about it because just everybody just chill. It was quite literally they were shoot him for the Geelong Socials. Yeah, it wasn't his like overall retirement message. He came out straight after. It was like oh yeah, and for Carlton like thanks thanks boys. You know football club. It's six games, Irish games record holder won the flag in twenty twenty two after he went over kicked one hundred goals on the nail really like forty with Carlton, sixty with Cats, always that booming left leg. So that's why he and I have like a bit of a connection.

Just saying. Even Gerald laughed at that one. I like that producer. Gerald didn't mind that.

Other little bits of news like Zach to me though, like in terms of his like impact, he is like one of those classic cats as well, which I think is kind of cool.

He fits that culture, he fits that vibe and you know he's like he always get a seven out of ten from a minimum. Yep, that's right. It's a really good way of putting it.

The other little bit of news was the Bebo goes past Ted Whitton for games coach for the Dogs this week. I mentioned that I think the on the Sunday White Sunday Show last week that he was tired. So that's kind of good. Ted Whitten Junior came out and said some nice things about him. Well, it's great that he's turned the season arounds, like you're gonna make the finals. Still, I'm just saying.

They don't make the finals?

Is he going?

I They're never gonna sack him, I feel like, especially after he turned the season around.

I know, but there's so many of those that have been looked at this season. Even ken Inkley was called would be sacked, and now he's top.

Four it is.

It's gonna go down as the most chaotic season that we've seen, and I think going to this final series, it's just dartboard material of just like anyone who's gonna.

Win it blindfolded.

There's no one or two teams that are absolute standouts exactly. That's why this final eight breakdown is gonna be very.

Good, which you'll get to after the twenty two under twenty two The final team was announced. This is by the Players Association or something isn't it with I'm pretty sure that's out.

It all gets the other one dangerfields and I think it's yes.

Uh, it's a pretty good team because you're like, wait a second, Nick deakoss is under twenty two, he's the cow. Luke Jackson's twenty two is still he's like forty two cheesels the vice captain.

You've got Luke Jackson there as well. So just to quickly go through it, is.

I a Wagony Miller yep, happy with that awesome mac Andrew Darcy, Wilmot, Max Holmes.

He there, he's twenty eight. You can't tell me that he's not. What are we doing? Everyone who plays for Geelong right now is twenty eight?

Uh? Just to we to we to weddle Kolby Kercher geez, that's a bit of it's going to be really underwent.

Whoa rule he could have won a brother, but he was pretty bad.

Harley reed, whoa on board?

That's pretty good.

Right in the center circle, Jason hard Francis feels like he's around a million years on the win.

He's got legs though.

Next to Sam Darcy and Olly Dempsey in the half forward line, Josh Tracy.

Jeez Jamara and Jai miss. That's not a bad forward line.

There four tools to two tolls from two tools from the Dockers as well right there to from the docks a mass, Rachelle the.

Warlord and Josh Draper.

What about the on bowlers we were sort of mentioned Cheese or Decos Jackson, so big snubs out of it. I mean it feels like they nailed this because I don't feel like anyone else really really massively stands out.

Like, yeah, there's maybe possibly can.

I hang a bit underrated? He could sneak in for maybe Josh Draper on the bench.

Yeah, they just draper one of the benches like you sure? Okay? Uh, I love to see that.

No Bombers and no Blues made it so no Blue, oh yeah missed out. He was the only one we actually had in the squad.

So not great.

Yeah, no, I do.

Anyway, that's enough of that. Let's do the around twenty four game previews previews previous.

Pretty big week, gentlemen, as these things go, you know, what, is there one team that's actually settled into the eight properly?

Yep?

Other ones can still feasibly Uh. We go one through ten basically, which is very cool. And one of those teams is play Oh that's right, it's ten colein Wood playing it's Melbourne.

On Friday night.

I think for some reason we've written marble. It's at the G seven forty pm. The overrunner for this one is one sixty nine point five. How do we feel right there? So Collingwood favored by four and a half points and the over under one sixty nine point five. You think about this, Ten of the last eleven Demons games at night have gone Yeah.

I was going to say, I feel like this is going to be a bit of a defensive slog this one.

This is like four although I think if Colin Woold have the game when their turns to the majority of it, it could go over just because of how free flowing and open that their game. Sole Is saw it against Brisbane. They has the potential to poll on five six goals in five six minutes.

But they only do that one quarter a game. Yes, it's the Carlton blueprint, that one which if you remember the King, you might remember the King's Birthday game. It's pretty big. It happened eight nine fifty one. The Pis won it. There was a bloke named Christian Petraka got hit by a car in the middle of that game.

It was pretty pretty crazy.

No, that was the injuries he sustained, like the broke was the broken ribs, the busters spleen.

Yeah, like it's what happens.

Still manages to bring out cooking videos on TikTok, though, which is priorities.

You hate that.

I can't stand it, But that's.

Because like his diet just like just completely like revolves around, like I don't know, highway side like subs, and that's how he rolls.

It's the Marcus way.

Ah.

But the Pies have now lost only two of their last sixteen that have been decided by a goal or less.

That is just insane, isn't it.

That is Yeah, well, you've got the most experienced team, so you'd hope so and both of.

Those losses come this year, maybe I'd assume so.

Well. One was against they just lose to. That was close Sydney.

Yep, that was two weeks ago. I can't remember the other one good stuff later he came prepared.

The cool thing is they only need to win by fifteen goals or so to give themselves a shot of the eight isn't that though. Carlton then need to lose by fifteen goals or so. There's a pretty big switcher route in terms of the actual the ins and outs have actually, you know, finally come out, which is good. So with all this in mind, you're looking at this sort of extremely strange setup for the like Melbourne and playing a dead rubber. They're done, They're cool, and they're like, no, we're just going to roll everybody out there one more time. They've got one change in this game. I thought it was going to be much more than this. But you've got Bailey Lauric coming in for Tom Sparrow. Trent Rivers plays his one hundredth game. That's very nice. But you've got everybody else out there, right, You've got Milkshake, You've got Maximus Cornickis, Tomlinson, Tom McDonald for the pies. Off goes Billy ef and Frampton, Jack bites Ol, Dan McStay, which we mentioned on yesterday's show, Ned Long in comes Joe Richards, Finn McCray, Ed Allen and Charlie Dean.

Uh.

The three three.

Of those names are just like the world's like most boring Collingwood names. Joe Richards ed Allen, Charlie Dean and then Finn McCray, which is like a sick name.

You think that they'll be playing in the nineteen forty that's.

It much Charlie Dan and taking Richard's out, My bies, This is a fascinating setup just because like college, would do have something.

To play for?

Ye?

Feasibly?

Yeah?

Sure?

Could they do something like that? Could they go absolutely chaos? The big question is can the Pies mean by ninety?

No? No, I think yeah, they just can't do it.

Melbourne did Melbourne name it basically a full strength team to make sure that doesn't happen. Are they actually out there going We're not even going to give you a shot.

But that's pretty sad though.

Then they're just like their happiness is making sure a team doesn't beat them by ninety like just I don't know, play the kids, yep.

Darcy Camera versus Max Gorn, which is a really fun one. Cameron's been really really good to finish this season and then Gorn just loves the g and he loves playing against the Pies, so that's actually a really fun one.

Super coach wise, I think Gorn has a big day.

Interesting tips picks, vibes, anything else you want to hit on with this one, because Collingwood, look, they really do essentially need like their best scenario, right, Like they have to beat Melbourne by fifteen goals. Carlton and Freo then have to actually win their games, and I don't know if the Saints get off to like if the Pies do just put one on Melbourne, They're probably not going to win by one hundred, but it would be fun because every Carlton fan, including myself, Man.

Are you serious?

No, just they did it in twenty twenty two. I don't want it to happen again anyway. I still think the Pies win, but I think it's only by about sixteen. I think they're a little bit too quick, a little bit too fast. But Melbourne's experience will keep a minute, just be a bit of a gross Friday night slog, or it could just open up and just be like one of those pre flowing, just random games like what Melbourne Essendon earlier this year. It was like a pretty weirdly high scoring game that Melbourne beat them in.

We played them in the rain, Oh yeah, and I was like scoring, was it? No? There was at least one decent one for Melbourn Park. Surely, surely. Anyway, I'm going to go the Pies Leo.

Pies by four goals.

Nice one. Mark Also yeah, I'm going to go.

I'm gonna go the Pies by five goals just because they want. They won five last six against Melbourne, so pretty good record.

They have, not bad, not bad. H Saturday, this is where it all starts getting interesting and more. Top eight heavy Geelong versus West Coast. Amazingly enough, they are fifty three and a half point favorites. Are the Cats down at GMHBA Taxpayer Stadium one forty five in the afternoon. The over run has won sixty one seventy six point five. Could you long top that by themselves?

I think so.

Yeah.

West Coast played a Carlton team that had none of their players last week and still gave up one hundred points. Now they don't have Jerryman mcgalvin, they don't have Tom barrass.

This is going to get ugly.

This is a West Coast team that is the seventeenth ranked offense and the sixteenth were seventeenth ranked, sixteen ranked sorry defense, it's gone sixteen seventeenth. The Cats offense has been fantastic this year. They're fit overall, so they could really put on a hurd over West Coast. Because there's also the sneaky little thing where I think they've won eight straight against West Coast at Taxpayer Stadium and the average winning margin is sixty seven point six.

Yep, sixty seven.

Oh my god, it's a pretty big difference you in for the Cats. Zach Tewey back for his final game, jeb Bus down to Bruin. That's not playing finals.

Oh well, I guess he could still continue playing, but final regular season he's retired.

Off he goes see your Kats fans at It's a nice send off.

No Tomahawk obviously, we talked about that the other day. Ocean Mullen, Mitch Nevertt and Garry Rowan out for the Cats. The Eagles out goes n McGovern, Andrew Gafflee and Ryan and Zane.

True that defense of Tom Cole, Harry Edwards, Brady, Hugh, Liam Duggan, Ratt, Bazo and Reuben.

And the Cats are just out there going. We've got it.

We've got a jere mccowry, we've got an Ollie Henry, and we've got a Shannon Neil.

They're going to kick thirty goals.

This is going to be nuts incomestt Baso, play Hall, Campbell Chesser, Ryan Marritch and Jack Hutchinson, three of those people have made up. With all due respect our Eagles fans out there, but incredibly so. I pointed this out before the show started. These two teams have not played since April last year.

That is insane.

April in twenty twenty three was the last time Gelong played West Coast. That's insane. What do we doing?

I think West Coast I would like that.

It's fine for them.

I guess Cats need to win by twenty one goals to finish in the top to give themselves a crack at the top two. Which is already cool because if the Western Bulldogs beat gdo Wes and Frio beat Port, they're on.

Was that like one hundred and twenty hundred and thirty points.

So let's go. It's a fascinating setup. So that's the big question. I guess for this one.

The Cats need to win by at least ten to give themselves a crack in the top three.

Can they will they?

I think that absolutely can. As we mentioned this, West Coast defense is depleted and the Cats have one of the best off in the comp.

So I think they're going to run rampant. Marcus, what do you reckon? Yeah?

Sure, I think West Coast the whole scoreless and the second quarter into your mob and your mob were pretty depleted as well.

By sixty five to Carlton at home last week, and Carlton didn't have a forward light like we're playing Brodie. Camp's definitely worrying signs. And I think this could this result sort of lies with the head coach as well. Could he be the head coach next.

Season regardless of the results, shouldn't be He shouldn't be head coach.

So I was like, well, we've talked this out a couple of times during the season, right, there's a there are whispers that someone who said that they're not in.

For the West Coast.

Is secretly in and and everyone else is sort of taking their name out. You're like, ah, right, great, but do you want to be that guy? It's like this is the ooser job, right, do you want to be that guy in West Coast? Well, another year of floggings. Next year, we're gonna slowly get better. But those like those losses go on my record, surely just rolled Jared Showfield out there, Showfield out there for one more years ago.

You eat it, you pretty well.

But then they're going to be in that position next year. I reckon, like, I feel like they need someone from the outside to come in. It has to be so motivated for this job and with a clear plan to say, like I want this player, I want to get rid of this player. This is the way we're going to move forward.

Harley Reid, captain coach.

I don't mind that.

Actually, let's do it John by eighty eight, Leo.

Cats by ninety five, or.

And the Cats break the time three to just one hundred.

We escalate this. Well.

It is funny because like we've got two teams in the eight. So the Hawthorne North game, is there a similar one right where it's like it's almost like a rider down, lock it in, that's done, right.

If one upset happens.

Out of those two, it would be absolutely chaos only for the eight definitely, but it's.

Not gonna happen.

Hey, the dimmer ball Richmond versus Gold Coast amazingly enough, so we had Ned Moyle, my very mess my very best mate, must beat my very best mate on yesterday's shot, which is great. And he pointed out that this is the first time they played at the MCG this year. I watch that was very good, which is incredible. Colcos are ten and a half point favorites at the MCG. Who coaches the Golcos Sons now m Dimmer who.

Was his old team Richers.

They're playing each other and it's his first game back in the G with his new gig and it's against his old team.

That's awesome.

I love this that said, You've got Dusty's farewell, You've got Marlin's farewell.

It could be everybody's fair well. This could be the final game of the Yellow one Black.

For Dan Rioli, for Shay Bolton, for Jack Graham and for Liam Baker as well. You've also got Dylan Grime his farewell like he and Dusty obviously aren't playing, but just like this is huge. What a chaotic, chaotic situation. The over runder is a really interesting one. It's one hundred and seventy four.

And a half. That seems pretty high.

It does seem high because you've got a Suns team that scores around fifty six to fifty seven points away from home, but Richmond give up roughly two hundred million points a game, so it's one hundred and three points three. Well that's seventeenth in the comp Uh. Can the Sons get going?

Who knows?

But anyway, it is an awesomely weird, incredible game the dimmer Ball. I'm stoked. Can you tell M pumped?

I'm excited. M. I'll be going on that game.

So I really feel bad for you, mate.

It's the game of the weekend. What are you talking about?

Maurice Rolly, Lamb Baker, Marlon Pigott in for the Tigers, Jacob Blight, Tresi and Cool Tardu as well.

I love Trei.

For the Suns. Alex Sexton and Jack Lue coaches. Lucoaches shredded apparently in the VFL last week. He was always sort of on the way back for this one. Out goes David Swallow and my beloved Jed Walter.

What's going on?

What are we doing?

I think.

The Tigers could now win this. If Jed Walter's not playing, you're killing me anyway. This is a very strange set up this game. Everybody's farewell. All of Golko's last six August games gone over the points total. That is a very wink, which is like it's just like as the sort of end of their season's hit, they just give up the ghost and like everyone scoring. So I actually don't mind the over in that one, just as a bit of a Sally Avo special. I think the weather is meant to be lovely down here.

Yeah, yeah, so.

I guess the big question out of all this is do the Tigers want to win this or are they going to North themselves?

Do they want the worst record in the club's history or the number one pick?

I think they want to win. They want to farewell some of their play. Surely you've got a farewell Dusty, like you'd be doing in the disservice.

I mean, he's doing them a disservice by not playing.

Aren't say it's bad, but back man, this is it is hilarious. This is their worst record in club history. Win this and you're like suddenly jeopardizing the number one pick. It would be the funniest thing in the world if North just suddenly fell backwards in the A.

I don't know another number one, but anyway, I feature him might be cool.

What do we what do we reckon actually happens. I'm going to go goal goes in this by about sixteen.

I think I think Tigers win. I think they just do it for the like that's the Fairwow win.

I reckon.

Then I still think they get last.

I think North will do enough just to not like get bottom.

Plenty of games on the GEN this season. Gold Coast have it just because it's funny. I'm gonna go Richmond black a couple kicks. If you flash back to opening round, Gold Coast were winning this seventy four to seven during the second quarter. Oh that's right, Yeah, I forgot the round of the season in Gold Coast.

I forgot that happened.

Oh my god, I don't remember that actually came.

Back, didn't They got with you four goals?

Yeah that's awesome. Yeah, warning signs right there, but still there. What is the The percentage of difference between Richmond and North of the moment is like two points. Yes, I don't know if Riturn going to beat Gold Coast by enough to pull.

That back, but it would be funny, right Hawthorne, your beloved team there.

Leo fifty one and a half point favorites against the Ruse at u taz four thirty five.

This is gonna be a barn burner.

One sixty nine and a half is the over under Hawks perfectly middling it. At the moment, they're eighth on offense, eighth in defense.

That's pretty good. That's a pretty good shape of day as opposed to the rules it was sixteenth and eighteen. That's not a good ship. That sounds great, but this is I love a ball, Claco ball.

Let's go from zero to five star this year. I love that Sam Mitchell, he's well. The first win this season came against the Rugs and then to get him into the finals, he could beat his old mucker Clarko one more time and make finals.

I think our first win against them last year was like our first win of the year too. There you go.

It's remarkable for the teams.

I mean, the fact that actually James Cecily is actually named is a shock and scrimshaw. I mean Cecily. It's in Tazzy. He's like, nah, but they need to win, so I guess they forced him on the plane was.

In Tazzi where he kicked the bag and did short It was Adelaide Oval.

There he was the match winner against Free.

Oh yeah, incomes Finn McGinnis for the Hawks because will Day is obviously our with a collar bone, but it's not a broken colarbone. It's a weird dislocation, like weird thing that came out Spider Everett in nineteen ninety seven before you guys have thought of had the same thing that knocked him out of the playing for the rest of the finals and missing the ninety ninety seven Grand Final. But hopefully Will Days all right, you know he gets the buy, he gets the entire final series, so maybe he's crossed for exactly that have to win this game you actually get in the finals. Will Phillips, Toby Pinker, Blake Jury come in for the Ruse Echoes, Charlie Gomman, Miller Bergman obviously with the concussion, and Eddie Ford.

I thought there'd be more changes for North. I thought so maybe too.

Maki got a pretty bad knock against the Dogs. I thought he could potentially miss. I thought there'd be a few others too.

But the big one for super coaches that sheese all has not been named. Yes, so that sort of he was in the moon bootstill at the started this week. He was always looking a little bit sketchy.

Why would you risk him? Exactly exactly, don't do it.

But at the same time, if you supercerch together, Zach Fish has still been named on the half forward, so not bad name.

It's center half forward.

It's going to go kick it back.

Hawks have actually won fire straight against the rules as well, average winning margin thirty five point six.

It's not bad whipping boys.

Eight of the last nine Hawks Hams that used taz though, have gone over, so the one sixteen under under under that's right.

Weird things happen in Tasy.

Remember that Hawks are eleven and six there since twenty twenty as well, so they don't mind Tazzy, even though James Sisley hates it. So that line of fifty one and a half, I'm going to go over with that, So Hawks mean by fifty four. The big question is can the Ruse play spoiler? I say, just nut, I just don't think they've got enough class. Yeah, I think the Hawks, what we've seen from them the last month has just been absolutely inexorable, and they obviously smash them and win their way to a Heath Finals birth.

Yeah, Leo, I'm not one to get too overly confident about Hawthorne. But I just think North's defense. I can't see them defending our forward line. I think last I might be wrong, but last six weeks we've had the best offense in the comp. I just can't see our North can can cover our speed.

Yep, you mean the eighteenth ranked defense in the AFL this year.

They can't cover that.

Hawthorn's amazing, amazing, amazing offense that just tore shreds off the Blues two weeks ago in a must win game. What do you reckon, Marcus?

Yeah, I think Hawks comfortably. I do think it goes under.

It's meant to be raining all morning pretty heavily.

Keep North in.

I think it's more a case of North score thirty points in Hawthorn score eighty.

I don't mind this. Weird things happen in Taszy though. Never forget we've actually said this. So the reason that Alex is not his is because I know we don't like him. The other one is the stats boy. We sent him down to Tazzy to check this out. So he's going to be there on Saturday.

Which is very going live for it.

He's going to be going live.

We'll be on the socials because all sorts of havoc, eating pies, just getting amongst it.

Just send him messages anyone watching this, just do it. We'll put it, we'll post his number in a second. It's going to be awesome.

So stats boy goes down there to watch his team get absolutely humiliated by your team, Leo, I feel like we should, both of you.

I was thinking about going, but look the fixture came out like two weeks. He did.

That was to save your money for the prelim.

Yeah, sure, not bad.

Then the big one for Marcus Brisbane Brisbane a thirty five and a half point favorite against the Bombers up at the Gabba. Seven the over under one seventy point five. I'm flying over on that one. Oh boy, what is that offense?

Brisbane?

They are kicking, just kicking us and taking names at this point. Right, they're fourth ranked in the comp AND's.

Much a much bigger score.

If they just sprayed it, like you know, I known my five year old around the toilet bowl at the AMC.

Other week, but you were toilet.

Man and essenon.

We know that they love getting the shootouts, right, so that one seventy point five should be flown over. But this is the Dison Heppel fair Well game. How do you feel about this, Marcus, him not getting a felwell game in front of the Bombers faithful down here in Melbourne.

Yeah, I was really disappointed. I think you guys covered it a lot on the show. He was the captain of the club, especially when through ot the drugs are years he missed the year, came back captain of the club. I remember him getting a standing ovation first time we touched the ball in the game against Hawthorne. Actually yeah, so he used. He's just a great leader in Essen in person. He could have moved to Gold Coast multiple times, didn't stayed.

And this is how they were paying. This is how you repay my boy. That sucks.

And I think selections is a big issue again. You are no statists which I've seen, which.

I think what is going on with this selection? Like it's last the same with like Melbourne. Just play play some kids, see what they got.

The Bombers bring back Guelfy and Dyson, heble wedam and Joie Menzi go out for the Lions who do have to win this game. Ah Connor McKenna and no Ransworth come in for Brandon starts to itch and shadow brain that greatly shadow right. Joe Danner turn off game against his old club, which is kind of fun interesting, doesn't mind going against the Bombers too. The set up here though, I mean, if you think about it, for the Lions, like so, they very clearly they're in fifty at the moment. They are the sort of weird team that have the fifty four points where everybody else says fifty six to fifty two. So they have to win to basically not get jumped over by the Dog's Hawthorne or the Blues, which.

Is pretty weird.

So I guess the big question for me is, I do the Bombers have like any fight left inner Marcus?

What are you reason?

I don't think so, not from what I've seen previous weeks. So I went to the game last week as well. It's just the delivery inside fifties horrendous, Carlton Esque horrendous. I think, Essendon, I think I had it written down here. In five of the last six games, have I think won the inside fifty count? Yes, actually, in the last eight games they won the inside fifty count with a record of two and six Yep.

They've kicked may seven point eight points per game in that bit, which is just ridiculous, right, Brisman smoked at maybe seven forty five last year. Joey Duckett's kicked six goals. It doesn't mind a couple of goals against She's old two. Brisbane have one for the last five between the two. The gabbatoire hasn't been quite twari this year, but it's been tiring enough I think for the Bombers. So it would be ideal if they sent Dison off with a win, I feel, because it would definitely help Carlton's chances of sneaking up higher in the ladder if they do win.

I just can't quite see them do it.

Like Brisbane cooking it last week against the Magpies is just like inexcusable, right, Like because yourselves at the top four spot, they're going to probably put the hurt on us. And I think so if they cross the home home qualifying home qualifier, yeah they can. Like if West Coast do a beach as long, they can still move back into fourth.

That's kind of like.

Anyway, I think Prisonan by forty two, I think they just get out of here, like keep them at arm's length and it gets pretty pretty ugly, Leo giving.

Lines by nineteen. I think Essendon they can stay in it. They can win the clearances, but as you mentioned, kicks inside fifty is terrible and I feel like they've got a bunch of defenders who don't defend, so that'll come telling in the second half.

Yeah, I agree.

I think it'd be similar to last week. Probably stick around the first half and then the second half it gets ugly, Brisbane pull away. I reckon fifty points at least.

So after all the fire and brimstone of the Essendon edge, if they lose this game, they finished the season on eleven wins, which is the exact same as last year.

Yep.

I think Brad Scott is the first Essenon manager, Essena coach not to play, not to play in finals in his first two seasons.

Really, that's awesome. What a chaos, chaos.

That's a pretty high expectation to play formals in your first team.

I did also see someone on TikTok something about like Carlton have won a finals since before rest and I'm like, did you?

Yeah? Last year, like literally just happened. What are we doing here?

Anyway, we have Sidney Adelaid, which is a very very interesting one. The Swan's are eighteen and a half point favorites against the Swans.

That might have.

I guess the crom just two birds, you know, it's just weird. I love a good bird ball, but this one's not a great one.

It is quite fun to see two birds fight on the street as well.

What do you spend your time?

The thing is the Swans haven't swung the acts. They've gone with the against the rest versus rust. They don't want the rust. They only get the one week off. That's fine because I think you're Sydney, you're basically locked into a home qualifying final. You win that, you get another week off anyway, right, So Tom mccarton goes out, that's fine, give him a little bit of rest.

Aaron Francis comes back.

In, might get a message from him, and they just switch warners, which I just still think they should just do during the game as well as Chad.

You look at cash.

No one knows, so Chad and Chad Chunley Warner comes back in, which is very nice. Amazingly, Joela Marty's fiftieth game, the last time these two teams played. He went and booted nine for the crop ball as Chase Jones, tax Walker, Billy Dowling in mar Keine ranking obviously out Lucky Gullant and Joshua Shelley.

Boy.

Just that'll show him on a cross.

Ah.

Yeah, they'll never try that again. Having a personality being fun anyway. So Dan Rampy and co. Still playing this game is a bit all right. You're just going to continue to trying to build the I guess collective swansness that sort of fell off in the back half of the season. So I feel like this is a little bit of horse going. I don't want to screw with a good thing. We're just going to keep rolling back some form exactly like after they sort of had that weird drop off. Probably best not to sort of just get to ahead of like OVI your skis or whatever. So Sydney lost two games at home all year. They're the first ranked offense, third ranked defense. That's the perfect idea for winning a flag, right crom thirteenth and tenth gross runner one seventy four point five. I think this fly is over Adelaid play Lucy Goosey. I think the Swan's put up a big number. I think the cromb sort of fight back, same as last time one O nine to sixty seven. Five straight wins for the Swans over the Crows and Adelaide. I mean when they're away, they haven't been too bad away, but they're awesome at Marvel, not of the seg So I don't know.

Big question. Should Errol knock a cap off a Crows fan?

Yeah, thats to suck.

The big boy knocked my head off. I want to assume him. What was that power fan doing.

I think he got what he deserved to be honest.

That crashing and knocked the block off.

They was clearly saying something because Kraus did this little double take and then knock just knocks his head off and he's having this assault allegation leveled at him.

Anyway, anything else in this Sydney Adelaide game that you're sort of interested in, gentlemen.

Really really struck a deal.

They do anything, they've lost both of their barometers in ranking and Michelley.

Yeah, so look, I don't know what are ada theyre going to even do in this Like I feel like it's the same with Melbourne, It's the same with Essendon, Like what are they even going to do?

Like I don't know, Well, Adelaide can't move up or down. Yeah, they're stuck in fifteenth.

Like that's it. Their season is cooked, like whatever questions of the Matthew Nicks.

There's always been questions over it, but he gets next year to sort of like sort this out. But if they just have like this horrible just beat down on their hands of Sydney, maybe those questions do arise off season a game, but I don't know. I think Sydney win is pretty handily run over the top thirty six points, six goals, sixty seven goals.

I reckon le.

Sitney by eleven. I just haven't been too impressed by the Swans the last couple of weeks. I know they turn it on and they get the win when needed, but there's just a few patches of playing a few halves of footy.

Where I'm like, this is bottom four stuff.

Somehow they have a percentage above one hundred still that's all, which is unreal.

Eight yeah how I do it.

But also it goes undernew because the Swan spy about seven goals forty points.

Nice, not bad, it is like it's still frustrating.

I think watching the Crows where you look at them and there's talent on each line yep. And then you look at like the forward line, as we sort of did when they're playing the Power last week. You're like, they've got fog, they've got Thrill Thorpe, they've got ben Key's Texas now back Celigo, Sholan COO's talent.

It just never.

Seems to click for long enough, which is weird. I think Sydney have no problems with that one.

Then Super Sunday.

All through these games have pretty massive, massive, massive Top eight implications.

First off, we've got six versus third. In my old stopping ground. We're going to be down Ballarat.

That's right, Mars Stadium or as I know it, the place where I have my ten year high school reunion.

Pretty cool, I guess twelve.

Thirty at Mars Stadium in Ballarat, GWS traveling to b Town balliforne AA.

It's gonna be amazing Dogs. They've beat the Dogs by five before on the scround.

This is drue no tinglish again for the Dogs, though if we look at the lineups, he's actually been named Wow, he did get named. Riley West was out as well though we mentioned that that was like a weird jaw thing. So Tim Wlish is named on the ground as well. Riley Garci, Arthur Jones, Caleb Porter with your extended benches for the Giants.

Lucky Ash goes out.

With the thumbtackle suspension, wasn't it Yes, Callum Brown, Zabra Alleron, Harvey Thomas, Nick Haynes in for the Giants. It is a fashion noting set up Gedo West. They want to go top two with a win. They've won seven on the trot. At the moment Sydney Greater Wistern Sydney top two could have happened.

What do you reckon?

Yeah, absolutely sure. I think that every chance of winning this game the Giants. I think Dogs. They coming off again a big win against North. It's not the greatest form like come up against.

I guaranteed to victory against Free Mantle, which we'll talk about. So I think they definitely can finished up two.

Gedo West lose and they could slip to four if Geelong win big enough, which will winning Port lose their second or they make up seven percent inch points.

But there's a lot of implications for g WS.

Right they could finish anywhere you I think if you want to finish second obviously, and you want to have a home qualifying final because you don't want to be in fourth and go, wow, we're just going to lose another.

Derby really for g WS true.

That's why they're so good at it.

They'd rather play Sydney away or Port away in the first week of finals.

I think they probably played Port.

Yeah, I would want to do with that because I think their record of the derby, the Sydney Derby hasn't been great, right, Yeah, the Dogs they actually won seventy to forty three ery back in round ten. That was the incredible game where they kicked eight goals from thirty scoring shots.

Yeah, do not won that game.

The Dogs have actually won six to the last seven against the Giants, and the Dogs obviously need to win to stay in the finals because if Freo beat Port they'd actually jump the Dogs. In fact, obviously Hawthorne on Carlton, Dogs all need to win to avoid being jumped to three. I win so six times the last eight years. This is just normal path of course for Dogs fans. Producer Joe is just like right, every year six last eight, the last round has had their finals chances still up in the air, which is insane so amazingly as well, if they win and the lines and the Cat lose their fourth.

This is an insane week of footy. I love top four seven finals. So we're Tinglished back.

How do you think that sort of manages like Rory Lobb last week, you know, pinch hitting in the ruck.

You could stay up front and kick seven goals, like.

Does this sort of free up like Lob goes back again with Liam Jones, you get to then sort of throw him around the Cadman and Hogan's and stuff. I feel like with Tinglish I actually rate the dog's chances a little bit better obviously, gives them more optionality. Yeah, absolutely, and the dogs don't might have been the the old Ballarat.

I don't know, how are you sort of sitting with this? Kieren Briggs is an easy beat either in the rock.

He's a big boy, and I think I think, I don't think, really think Tim English is his stride this year. Look, I think GBS can actually come away with a win here. It'll be close. I think he'll go two goals either way. But I'm going to go lean on the side of g wss by about a kick.

Well, the big question is like do you trust the dogs to get it done? And like the answer is it's the dogs. No, But I think they're just good enough. I think I'm going to go Dogs fourteen.

Yeah, Dogs three. I just think at Ballarat they're pretty tough to beat down there. I know GWS have beaten them there, but I think, yeah, they normally win down there. I think I think it was a Marvel. I'd actually go GWS.

That's an interesting one. Yeah, dogs.

Also don't mind a bit of g WS. The Dog's overall record if you had to guess it in Ballarat?

How many games did they play there?

How many they want? There's twelve games?

I reckon they have one nine.

I reckon they're probably seven and five, eight and four you split it.

Not bad round up.

That's pretty good. So two Dogs one Giants. Interesting, that's going to be a great game. Not a great game will be the one following it, because obvious see me going just punching myself on the face.

Because that'd be more fun.

The Blues a three and a half point favorite somehow against the and Kilder Saints at Marvel three twenty pm. Sunday, I will definitely not be there because dragons dragging me there for love of money. To be honest, I was actually looking at it and couldn't actually end up making it. We'll get another thing on so the over Runner's one sixty seven point five. I one d under on that because this will just turn into a massive slog as the Saints dragged this into the dirt.

But amazingly, for.

Carlton, they have named Adam Sad Charlie Colonel and Arazzio Fantasia Mackay No Mackay, which is.

I'll expected more inclusions.

You thought maybe there'd be one or two weird news that popped off yesterday. Well later, yeah, lady, yesterday was at Sam Dougherty is actually like, well it could be fit for finals. Everyone's like really, okay, I'm not sure if you want to risk that, but yeah, yeah for the Saints, let's say it's Philippo's back. Watch out Jack hayes, Tom Campbell and Angus McLennon. Out goes Camerniti. Tough one for Kemeny.

The changes I expect to see of a team that is got nothing to play for Jack.

Hay's tough one, but I don't know the the Saints are awesome at the moment, like they are playing.

Apart from the Brisbane game.

The Brisbane game was tough, but like that turnaround against the Cats, like the first half against the Cats, you're like yet more of the same Saints classic that second that third quarter alone, like what the hell was that?

Where was that? All season of sixty.

Three points around around right over the top of them, And the Saints have now won four or five, there's sixty three points in around last week was insane. They won five of the last six at Marvel as well, which is crucial because not that great at Marvel. They blew the game against Adelaide there earlier this year, they almost got run down by the Ruse in the second game that.

They lost the Dogs there.

Lost the Dogs there pretty badly, like a month ago, even very unconvincing in games against the Suns and GWS where they took they did their patterning. We played awesome for this one quarter we won the game kind of thing. So it's winning in for the Blues. Saints want to play spoiler. I kind of probably trust the Saints more to play spoiler than the Blues to win and get in. If the Blues do win, they're probably most likely to still land eighth. You got to Brisbane for an elimination final, A bit tough one. If Weston do beat Brisbane and the Bulldogs lost to GEDs, Blues could get to sixth and host Frio if they wont Chaos, Right, let me take four spot is actually mathematically alive.

Just saying double chance, baby cats it up to lose the anyway.

So look, I think the Saints form is almost just annoy It's so annoying as a Blue like you look at that, it's the perfect storm round seventeen. You look at this game, Carl and go, no problems well winning that. Yeah, Now you're like, oh, there's no chance they win this. Do the Blues do the damn thing? That's the big question.

I just.

You saw what they sort of did with their backs against the wall last week. That was against the West Coast team that did not score on the second quarter. The desperation was amazing. Pessimistic Jim says Saints bow twenty eight. Optimistic Jim says Blues by sixty four.

Sure, it's probably we're in the middle. Ah, I just don't know.

You've kind of got to hit that sweet spot with like sardon Kernel coming back, is it? Do you rest? Did you have to rest them this week? But then you've got to make sure that you win. You're going to make sure you win, but then you've also make sure that they don't get injured if they do play this week.

I don't know. I still think they win, really, I think so.

I think they've learned from their mistakes of a couple of years ago against Collingwood, I think, and with the leadership of Crips, He's just another one of those games where he just dragged you over the line. And I think that could be the case in a low scoring affair.

I think this would be a very good game of football actually, and I think Saints get it done by nine points. I just think that back line will give you the clamps and Kerno might be a little bit underdone.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised, like Callum Wilke and stuff, sort of just going up against him just like intercept sort of just like if you can't run and jump, like he was looking cooked before the injury, like two weeks well a week off and it's like, oh jeez, they didn't name Brodie Kemp at half forward again though, and Mitch McGovern did get up for this one. He was a big question mark going into this one. So you do have the extended bench, but that's the likes of Bins, Moyer, Cooper, Lord, etcetera.

So we'll see what is in.

The case of Chin cut up, possibly like tagging an interceptor like Wilkie or.

Will he go to Wangan and Miller Well, he actually played that role earlier in the year, either the tagging or the tagging forward to Sinclair.

It's probably not a bad idea to Holly Hollands, Elijah Hollands. A lot of it comes down to them. I think, what's see what happens. Fascinating game. Finally, this is the final game of the twenty twenty four home and away season.

Free O versus Port Adelaide.

The doc is one and a half point favorites, the over under one fifty nine point five ad op the stadium out West at six ten pm Eastern time. What a finish to the year, gentlemen. What a finish to the years is going to be very good. Yeah, so they've already played a thriller this year as well. Port won that back in ground five sixty six to sixty three. Because Frio don't play easy games. We know that they are the best defense in the AFL seventy five point three points a game. They give up, Frio will probably know their fate. Well, they will know their fate before this game starts, essentially.

Yeah, because your game will end six and they're starting at.

Carlton Hawthorn win win on the phones all I've got to win the old Dog and bone.

Just checking the AFL, I'm going where Why is there no reception out west? It is a chaotic, chaotic situation free how to find themselves in. But also for Port because they're like, well, we need to win to like lock in number two, like if g because they'll also have like results going.

Either their way.

So if GWS win, Port definitely need to win to stay second. They're still far enough ahead of the Cats that they probably don't give up enough. You never know, So what do we think happens here? Like the Dockers have lost their last three straight, but it's by a total of twenty one points. There's seventy three and one at home this season and no Darcy, no Tracy. Michael Walter's comes back, Erasmus comes back. James ash named as well Port however, get Mitch Georgiadi's back. Love that a Don Davis, n dn there, Joshin, Jed Mackenzie and Ollie Lord. Obviously Dan Houston goes out and so does Quintin Narkle.

Oh boy, the school, isn't it?

Lots of our Port fans in our comments will be very happy. Georgia Yards is back.

I love George Jays.

Georgia Ardi's two plus Porter one four the last five between the pair they actually won seventy eight to fifty four are at op the stadium last year. Obviously I had a bit of a Dan year last year, but power six and four away as well. They've won seven in the last eight games. Win you have a home qualifying final.

That is awesome, right Ken never tear us apart?

Is he ken uf who knows Jed was going to make up the seven goals where the percentage to catch Port If they all end up tied, cats need to make up that twenty one goals worth of percentage basically, But it sort of just comes down to the simple idea of like, do the docors have enough with our Tracy and Darcy to keep up with the power, who will obviously miss Houston.

Yeah, I think Port will definitely miss Houston. I still think Port have like enough outside run. I feel like, look at Frio's team, and I think Footy classified put a lot on Jagomeira and Nat five to do a bit more defensively, and I think those two might get a bit exposed for the north Port Adelaide's boys.

Yeah, Rosy and Butters will shred there. Absolutely old boys, that's no good. Yeah, if this was.

An Adelaide, I'd be swaying towards Platealaid. But Freeman will just a little glimpse of hope there with it at being at Optus, and I think I'm going to back them.

That's I mean.

The big question is so much of this is going to rely on whether or not this will be a dead rubber for the Doctors.

Yeah.

If the Docors coming and going wow, we can't make finals, come on, man, what are we doing?

Like that just gives up the ghost.

I feel like I've tipped the Saints, So I think Frio sort of coming to this with a bit of fire under them. I think free I actually get the win, snag it out of knowwhere, because they're at home. I don't think it'd be I think I wrote sixteen, I'm gonna say six Leo.

I don't think it'll be a dead rubber. I've also tipped the Saints, but I think Port win by a goal. I think Port on paper, I just have a bit more pace and I just think free. I just they love a close game, So I don't know if it'll be a big, sort of big margin here.

So yeah, that lot of that loss Optust Long really really killed note them.

Well, the lost to Essendon, just like falling away like that was absolutely chaos.

So if you think about Port and there sort of run this year as well, Like the Showdown win last week was awesome, Like they basically took over the game in the second half, run away with it. They just Snuckbucks passed the D's oft the g A couple of weeks prior to that, they smashed the Swans at home. They just pretty easily took care of Carlton here at Marvel, They demolished Richmond. They randomly lost that stupid Gold Coast game because it was a Gold Coast They deleted the Dogs as well. Prior to that, got by the Saints got smashed by Brisbane, and that's sort of the sort of weird story of their second half of the year, where it's planing just put together some awesome wins. The Sydney win was absolutely chaotic.

It was at home.

Can they continued away? I think Frio just sort of do something weird. Giant miss five goals. Don't mind that nice speaking, which that's it. That would be the end of the regular season. So we better do a big call for round twenty four. Let me be pessimistic Gym for a second. Blues lose missed the eight because Freo come from nowhere to be port. Pessimistic, Jim says his final eight is Sydney Port Adelaide, Geelong, GWS, Brisbane, Western Bulldogs, Hawks, and Frio. Optimistic Jim says, well, the Blues smash the Saints because the Saints stink, and Frio lose as well. So off we go Sidney Port Adelaide top two, Geelong three, GWS four because I've got the Dogs winning that game, Brisbane, Dogs, Hawks and Blues.

So I don't think the Blues would win enough to get anywhere higher. But either way it's going to be nuts.

I don't mind the Giant miss five plus as well as the loan man against that port defense. But it is hard to sort of look at some big calls for this one across the weekend, like Sam Darcy against the GWS back line. Fascinating setup ro and then you've got flip side Jesse Hogan going for a Coleman up against the Dogs and Jones and Lob and stuff.

So weird set up. How about Jeremy Cameron eight goals?

Maybe I like that, like the sound of that. I'm going with another Gelong forward, Shannon Neil five plus goals.

Against what's Shannon Neil's career high Leo.

I don't think. I don't know, but he's tinking away with ones and two since he's coming to the team. Ah, so this what's a big call though?

This it's a wo waffle defense though exactly.

That's what's a bit cool.

His career high in his three years are three goals.

There you go, that's career high five goals. Everyone's going to be thinking, oh, Jeremy Cameron's going to kick eight, and he probably will, but I think Shannon Neil can sneak in for five. He's had a solid year, and I think this will be his breakout game against the depleted Eagles back line.

Nice as long as Marcus picks like Oli Henry to kick six, well, what's better than one big call five seventy Well, I'll give you two. I'll give you two.

Richmond win and cough up the number one pick to North Melbourne and also the Dogs lose the gIBIS and miss out on the top of the well.

I guess if we go by your tips, that's how that's how it works, right, that's awesome part from the Richmond tip, which you didn't have the balls to tip, that's fine, but yeah, the Richmond Richmond smashed Gold Coast in a dimmer ball. Like I've talked about how the most of my tips for the back half of this season have just been the fun outcome. That is very clearly the fun outcome. But because I'm now Ned Moyle's best mate, I can't tip against the.

Gold Coutency is not even playing, I know, but he's my best mate.

I got to back the bush anyway, go to the bluest keep an eye on, and you've got anything you want to keep an eye on, specifically this week, because I've got one thing for each.

Game, not particularly I feel like you've covered it here with your gym.

Keep an eye on for round twenty four, how much desperation the Piers play with because you know how much you're gonna win by. Can you put the Melbourne Demons to the sword, because it would be very funny if they won by ninety Geelong's total versus West Coast, that's obvious. Yeah, they put up the double touch. I think they can keep an eye on Dusty. Just keep an eye on him.

It's even going to be there. He might do the laugh and then leaves, just.

Leave his car in the car park again as well. It is epoch defining talent.

That's what Dusty is.

He's just like an era defining dude, the Norm Smiths, the brown Low, the titles. He's the dude and now he's gone. It's like he buddy Gary Able Junior. These are like generational talents that we're sort of losing. We do have an like I've pointed this out all of the Sea all through this season. Then, I don't think there's ever been more talent in the AFL than it has been before, which is awesome, but it's also just keep an eye on him. Just say goodbye to a champion. What happens in tazzy weird think, so keep an eye on it. Heppul and Essenon's response, I'm fascinated to see how much fight Essendon put up for Dyson.

Hepple. I'd like to see a little bit more.

Than what we've seen Sydney resting players sort of and just like their rotations in that game, like just sort of how they approach it.

Just go, oh, we've got the crom under control.

Uh, the in cans in Btown on the Hill, I just want to go up there right now, just go We'll going a couple of bean tins.

Why you're not going to the Carton game special on the Hill?

Saints choking the daylights out of the Blues of Marble.

I'm just I can already seen in my future just be sitting there depressed on Sunday afternoon.

And then the other one is.

Poor, Like because the five games suspension came down yesterday. We talked it out in yesterday's show. It does put a big hole in that team going to a finals series, right, and it's like one of those holes where like, how do you feel that one I'm fascinated to see how they feel that run and like that rebound off half back from Dan Houston.

So I would have thought that he got four and played in the granny. But if they made it, yeah, I thought it was slightly harsh.

Well, I do love the appeal is starting. I think Zeitz is already on the tweet machine.

I feel sorry for that man.

He's just he's full of schnitz and he's just full of like in, Oh, it's awesome. I do like that he did come out and say that The Power argued that Houston should have received the same benefit for his exemplary record as Charlie Cameron did.

Akay the good bloke.

Rule, So I don't know if that's actually gonna happen. But the Power also argued that sentencing discretion be reopened due to failure of procedural fairness, which is the one we had two of those get off like a couple of weeks ago.

Right, So well, someone in the comments mentioned ranking got four for and off the ball high hit and Houston got five.

On the ball didn't leave the ground hit.

I do like the Power was saying that there was an era of law that Houston had a right to elect to bump. He was entitled to elector pump instead of tackling.

I don't know.

He chose to bump and he knocked a do exactly if you choose to bump. I think he's into nothing. I reckon there either way.

Super Coach tips Vibes's thoughts. Do you have a grand final to be a part of this weekend? Gentlemen?

I am more paying attention to my score rather than who I've been playing. Yep, but I don't think so.

I was a part of a Super Coach Draft Grand final with my mates and got smashed because my mate had Brent Daniels who'd scored on Andy five.

Tough one. So your vibe thoughts.

So for people out there playing for this one last week for the overall ranking and stuff, you got some vice captain captain thoughts, I think I think on the super Coat Show on Monday, I talked up obviously Dekos has got a pretty rough record at times against Melbourne, but he does love the g and this could be a massive, massive game against the Demon's team that is giving up plenty of points to midfielders over the last few weeks. Gorne As well in that same game, could obviously go.

Massive Neel and Zorco against the Bombers. I don't know who don't tag as well, pretty big scores. They reckon stupid sexy Flanders at the g against the Tags. I actually have the Sea on him at the moment. I don't know why my VC's on Tom Green that's wrong, but either way we're going to go that on Gorn.

Any other thoughts, I don't mind.

He needs a vice against Andelaide to think he could be sneaky one of them bonds as well.

Down in Ballarat, well up in Bale, I think be tough. I think g It's got such a they've got a physical midfield as well.

It was interesting to see the most traded players in for the last week. Am I there just the sheer lack of trades remaining in the entirety of the Super Coats is like Lockie Windfield is the top traded the top trade target of eight hundred and eighty seven trades brought him in. That's like people who have held onto Shecheaesel for that one more week and god, oh god, he's not been named.

Click Dylan Moore number two. Very interesting. He's had a couple of really really good weeks Jackson Claire as well.

Another one for the Sheaesel Switch, Nick Newman, another one too amazingly Cooper Lord three hundred and forty six.

I don't have Dylan More on my list.

Actually on Super Coach, I have Brent Daniels, which is funny in at five and Sinclear.

Everyone, yeah he's are But there you go. That is the afl Today Show for today. What an incredible, incredible ride this has been, just doing this regular season, this home and away season, round twenty four, and it's all coming down to this with everything still up in the air.

I hate it.

I hated the Blues. I think, oh, my dumb old Alex over there the other day, just imagine that I had those two free kicksback, because I'm like, yeah, just imagine mich mcgovernor had a kick straight.

I would have been out of my misery.

Like we're laughing, we're already in like it is a really long season, but I have said from the very start, I don't care make it longer.

Forty footy. I'm the home but.

It's no pre season.

We're just playing with AFLW Today.

AFLW is back as well. So anyway, thank you to the two Ding guy for jumping on today.

Leo, thank you Jim. It's sad to see for the end well.

Team for one team here, possibly maybe two, God God, but yeah, it is weird to say farewell to ten teams.

But that's what we'll be doing in the round the week off, we'll be wrapping up the ten teams who didn't make it their season, pass grades and all that sort of stuff. Whould be very very fun. Thank you to Marcus for jumping on again first time in a little bit, which is good. Remember to smash alike for all the shows across all the socials as well, the AFL Today Show of course, but the AFL W Today Show as well, which is launched this week with Brian and Alex and even the little stats boy just popping up here and they go Hello. The Cricket Today podcast, the Football Today Podcast, NBA Australia, NFL Australia.

NFL Australia is coming very very fast down the pike next week. Oh God. Good to do more prep.

Hold on tickets as well, get around them on your podcast app and across all your social platforms as well.

Get around them like I don't know.

There's a great picture of Styx Kernahan kicking a goal to get the Blues into the nineteen to launch the Blues into the nineteen eighty seven finals to solidify their spot in it.

They then won the flag. Let's go the Baggers. Hsh day, Flaggers. We'll catch on Sunday after the Boys smash the Saints. Come on boys.

Oh god, I already hate this anyway, MORI failt Today on Sunday will wrap up all of that.

We might even be live as well, so keep an eye on that.

I think we'll be doing a live show as it all happens, as it all unfold, it should be awesome. So until then, look after yourselves and remember body was back.
