Brett Ratten

View descriptionShare

Brett Ratten, former AFL player and now head coach, talks openly about the death of his son Cooper in a tragic car accident five years ago.

As well as the support he has received from his workplaces and friends.

One story that sticks out in particular from the conversation is how St.Kilda F.C. provided a very special moment for Brett in early 2020.

Support immediately after the event is very important but Brett discusses the importance of the ongoing support for anyone who's lost a loved one.

He offers advice to people who are grieving and some perspective on how the little things can make such a big difference.
