Adam is off to Reading in Berkshire to visit the Museum of English Rural Life. He meets Philippa, the Learning and Engagement Manager, for a fascinating tour.

Step inside the education studio, try on countryside costumes, and find out what it was like to work in the fields—did you know children used to scare birds away for up to 10 hours a day?

Adam explores the museum’s hands-on galleries, from old shepherding games to steam engines and Land Rovers, and discovers how life in the countryside evolved over the years.
