Do we believe in local control or only when we agree with local leaders?

View descriptionShare

This week we saw the Utah legislature take the decision on whether to switch to remote learning during Covid away from school districts and keep it for state leaders. Do we believe in the benefit of local control or only if the local leaders are making decisions we agree with? KSL Newsradio's Amanda Dickson wanted to get input from her guests on A Woman's View. Her guests this week include Pamela Atkinson, community advocate and senior advisor to Governor Spencer Cox, Lisa Walker, certified athletic trainer and teacher at Springville High School, and Afton January, communications manager at Salt Lake County Aging and Adult Services.
