గత కొద్ది దశాబ్దాలుగా డిగ్రీలు అంటే engineering medicine లాంటివి మాత్రమే అందరి దృష్టి లో. పదవ తరగతి వరకు మొక్కుబడిగా చదివే చరిత్ర ను మరింతగా అధ్యయనం చేయాలనే కోరిక కలగటం అంటే ప్రస్తుత రోజుల్లో అదొక వింత.విదేశాల్లో బహుశా మామూలు విషయం కావచ్చు.వారికి  చారిత్రిక కట్టడాల పరిరక్షణ పట్ల ఉన్న శ్రద్ధ వల్ల.

అలాంటి  పురాతత్వ శాస్త్రం చదువుతూ పిన్నవయస్సులో తెలంగాణ చరిత్ర నీ తెలిపే శిథిలాలు శాసనాలను వెతికి వెలుగులోకి తీసుకు వస్తున్న యువ  ఔత్సాహిక చరిత్ర పరిశోధకులు అరవింద్ ఆర్య   d.చాముండేశ్వరి గారి తో  చరిత్ర పట్ల తనకి ఉన్న ఆసక్తి పరిశోధన గురించి వివరించిన interview. 

(For the past few decades, a degree meant engineering or medicine. History is only taught till the tenth standard and wanting to pursue history is left to one's imagination. It is more common in foreign countries where there is more interest in conserving heritage.
