Do you feel like you’re always trying to survive life?

Do the difficult moments seem to stay with you longer than the beautiful ones?

What if having a good life isn’t about feeling happy all the time, but learning how to truly receive the good?

In this episode of A Really Good Cry, Radhi explores what it really means to have a good life—not by denying pain, but by making sure pain isn’t the only thing we collect. She breaks down why our brains naturally hold onto negative experiences, how our attention shapes our inner world, and why joy often needs to be intentionally noticed and absorbed.

From “whimsy maxxing” and reconnecting with your inner child to understanding what you’re truly giving your attention and devotion to, this episode invites you to look at what’s sitting at the center of your life. Radhi also shares simple practices for staying with joyful moments, cultivating gratitude, and creating more space for beauty, even when life feels difficult.

In this episode, you’ll learn:
Why we’re often better at surviving pain than receiving joy.
How negativity bias can make difficult moments feel more powerful than beautiful ones.
Why what you repeatedly give your attention to begins to shape your inner world.
How to notice and absorb joyful moments instead of letting them pass you by.
Why gratitude can transform how pain lives inside you.
How small daily practices can help you create a life with more joy, beauty, and contentment.
