What if the anxiety you’ve been fighting your whole life isn’t something to be fixed, but something to be cherished?

How do you honor your identity and non-binary experience while building unwavering support within a traditional family?

And what does it really take to embrace solitude, set zero-tolerance relationship boundaries, and step unapologetically into your power?

In this episode of A Really Good Cry, Radhi sits down with digital creator, performer, and beauty visionary Cyrus Veyssi for one of the most vibrant, candid, and deeply resonant conversations on the show. Cyrus opens up about growing up as a fearless, performative child, coming out at a young age, experiencing their first panic attack at 12, and the transformative mindset shift that allowed them to reframe anxiety from an enemy into a cherished companion.

Together, Radhi and Cyrus explore the profound armor of unconditional parental love, the nuanced experience of gender fluidity and non-binary identity, and why comedy serves as the ultimate bridge to empathy and human connection.

They delve into navigating career boundaries with family, why physical solitude is essential for personal growth, empowering women to set unapologetic relationship standards, overcoming industry pushback, and Cyrus’s thrilling Broadway debut in & Juliet.

In This Episode, You’ll Learn:
Why anxiety isn’t a flaw to fix, but a relationship built on self-awareness and self-compassion
How honesty, open communication, and family support protect against external hostility
How gender fluidity embraces the balance of masculinity and femininity beyond societal binaries
Why humor and lightness can reduce judgment and foster genuine understanding
How solitude builds self-confidence, emotional neutrality, and mental clarity without disconnecting from a partner

How transformation, skincare, and beauty routines can become an apology to your younger self
How seeing industry rejections as business decisions builds career resilience and the confidence to walk away
