A Statement from Blanka: 

"My name is Blanka Meszaros I am a 21 year old Hungarian girl based in Glasgow. This is my very first poem written in English. I have been living in Scotland for one year. My piece is about searching for myself in this country. A huge change (eg.: moving, losing someone, starting a new life, adapting to the new circumstances) is extremely hard. But I feel even though it is terrifying we owe ourselves the experience to everything the fullest. We need to be empty to fill our body, imagination and our soul with new dreams, hopes and relationships."
