"“Closed Doors” is about opportunities and how we seem to miss them. Especially by letting us get discouraged by others or by negative thoughts or fears from ourselves. Well, at least when it’s about our deepest wishes that, we don’t even dare to follow – the impact these dreams seem to have on us (especially if they may be able to fail) seem to scare us so much that, we tend to don’t follow them at all at most times; why is it, that we would still complain about not living our goal or that dream life?

It will be published in “UN-FULLDILLED” – my first book of poems and short stories that is going to be published. The date is yet still to be announced."

Savage The Poet is a Nuyorican Poet/ Rapper born and raised out of Brooklyn, NY. He is in love with the power words have to change and uplift human emotion. He is the perfect blend of poetic truth and raw emotion. Savage The Poet has performed in numerous venues throughout NY such as The Paper Box, The Delancey, The Nuyorican Poets Cafe, Brooklyn Bazaar, Neuehouse, Trans- Pecos and The Brooklyn Museum. He has also participated in showcases with brands like Afropunk Army, Major Stage, and RAW Artists.
