Delhi’s cultural diversity and rich Sufi heritage have always provided a fertile ground for the universal song of love—the Qawwali—to thrive. And Qawwali, once centred around local Sufi shrines, has also found a world audience through legendary Qawwali maestros like Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.  We explore Qawwali, Sufism, and Delhi’s contribution to both with Dhruv Sangari—one of India's most renowned Qawwali singers and also a Sufi practitioner.
