On 24th April, 1973 a boy was born in the Tendulkar household who changed the cricket world forever. Though he made his debut in 1989, it was in the 90s that Tendulkar ascended to a different plane altogether with his batting exploits. But the decade tested him as well with its share of injuries and multiple stints of captaincy that left much to be desired.
