Inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s principles of non-violence and civil disobedience, Usha Mehta’s courageous efforts helped sustain the spirit of the struggle for freedom. Even after independence, she remained an advocate for Gandhian values, continuing her work as a social activist and educator.
