Pete Gall of Frankfort, Kentucky, just pulled off an incredible feat of endurance and charity, running 450 miles across the Bluegrass State in just 19 days -- while raising money for a group called the And Still Foundation.
Pete averaged nearly a marathon every day while braving extreme heat, dealing with a swollen Achilles, and dodging hay trucks on narrow country roads. He was motivated to tackle the challenge each day because he was raising money for the And Still Foundation, a charity that supports local kids through mentorship and fitness programs.
Pete said, “It just felt like people were kind of counting on me whether they were or not. That’s just how I took it, to kind of give myself a little bit of a mental edge when I was out.”
